My first post...all about katy

Whoever said life is never easy, boy were they right. My name is Wendy, i have 3 beautiful little girls. They each have such a different personailty. My first post is all about katy Katy, our first little miracle was born to us on February 16, 2001 at 9:42 am weighing in at 7 pounds even. She had such a great temperment, we were so lucky. She was the apple of everyones eye, and papa didn't know what hit him when she came along. they were fast friends. Katy was a great baby who was happy to sit in her swing for hours. She slept through the night at almost 2 months, and just to drive me insane i am sure, she would only sleep on her tummy. I was terrified.

Katy was joined by her sister when she was 2 1/2. Adding Bailey didn't change much to Katy relationship with her papa or nana. she was still the light of their world. Katy and bailey now have their own sisterly challenges. Katy is obcessed with this distate for Bailey's curls. they did love each other at first, and i am sure they still do. Bailey had colic and I had to hold her all the time, thank goodness Katybug had her papa to dote on her.

When Katy was in Pre-K we added Samantha to our family, Samantha had a twin we lost at 10 weeks. Adding Samantha was such a blessing. having three little girls is like owing the moon. What a weird saying, but true none the less. I was in and out of the hospital all summer long with after having Sam. Katy and bailey spent most of the summer with their nana and papa, and we all stayed there for awhile. They were such spoiled little children, but it was such a blessing to have them.

katy has always said she was papas best friend. And we lost dad, April 27th, 2008. He lost his battle with lung cancer 5 weeks after diagnosis. not sure how this will affect Katy, she is not talking about it. i know she is broken up inside, just don't know how to help her. She is seeing a counselor. katy has said her and papa loved to pick pecans together, clean the pool, Ride on her horse swing jack, fly planes together, eat bacon and eggs together. I am trying to be there for her, but have so much hurt to work through on my own. That is another post.

Katy was just recently diagnosed with Sensory processing disorder. We do not know all the specifics yet. Samantha has SPD, so we will adapt just fine.
